how to import virtuoso gds output in to APD (advanced package designer)

Hi All,
Does anybody successfully imported the virtuoso's GDS output into APD (advanced p[ackage designer) please?. any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Bill,
    I successfully imported the *.gin file in APD. The ONLY problem is the colors set in Virtuoso are lost in APD. Do I need to do something extra to bring all the colors as they are in Virtuoso?

    No. The data will inherit the single color of the APD layer you put it on.

    What die information are you bringing over? Die boundary and pads? There might be better means if you described what you are trying to do.
