Orcad Capture Smart Pdf Pin Number Issue

Hi,

I generated a pdf file for the schematic but the pin numbers of a part(D2) are missing in the pdf file. But the pin numbers for other parts(like D1) are correctly shown as expected.

    Yes it is smart. Look at the bookmarks where you'll get a list of all the nets or use CTRL+F and then type the netname you are after. Very Smart!!!!

    I am not getting the option like this --------File - Export - PDF.....

    So looks like you are using 16.6 which is quite an old version. Make sure it is up to date in regard to the latest version of 16.6 (Help - About and the number should be 16.6-2015 S086) then go to Accessories - Cadence Tcl/Tk Utilities - Utilities then choose PDF Export and launch. You'll need either Ghostscript or Acrobat Distiller for this process to work.

    Read about 'Pin designators / names are always visible in schematic' ... Devices" library don't show this behaviour, there I can turn on and off the ... pins for this reason although it is acceptable to hide pin numbers and names
