Capture symbol pin length

Question

I downloaded a symbol from SnapEDA and needed to modify it to show unused pins. When I added another pin I discovered that the pins used to create the part (line) are a different length than my default (line) pin. I tried copying one and renaming it, but when I copy it it changes to the same length as my default pin. How do I change my pin length to match or easily change all of the pins on the existing symbol to match what I have?

You can create a new pin shape according to your size requirement by following the below steps: 
 1. Go to File>New Library 
 2. Create a new library and save it to a location 
 3. Right click on the library and then select New symbol. 
 4. Once you select the new symbol select the Pin Shape and enter the pin shape that you want and then click on OK 
 5. Once done in the symbol editor, create a new pin shape and save it. 
 6. Once the pin shape is created you need to copy the pin shape to the CAPSYM.OLB library that is present in the installation folder. The path of CAPSYM.OLB will be 	ools\capture\library (For example C:\Cadence\SPB_17.4	ools\capture\library). 
 7. If the pin shape is not pasted in the CAPSYM.OLB library then you will not be able to see the pin in the dropdown list of Place>Pin 
 8. To use user defined pin-shape you have to place that symbol in capsym.olb which is the default capture library. Once the part is placed in capsym.olb then you can use this pin while designing a new part.
