I'm actually getting 3 files, CapMark.ps, CapOutput.ps and, CapPropMark.ps, and none of them are empty. I have used an online .ps to .pdf converter on the CapOutput file and it has produced a readable .pdf, but it has none of the embedded part attribute info.

I believe the tool checks to see if it can find the distiller executable.   But, in case this helps, could you  check to see if the Acrobat distiller path is in your environment variable under >System

    Path should contain

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\Acrobat

    Hi

I also facing this same issue (PS files are downloading Instead of PDF). I do have 22.1 and 23.1 version in my laptop. can you guide me how to download the PDF file from 23.1 without deleting 22.1.

My understanding is Capture CIS exports PS(PostScript) data, converts it to PDF with the properties.  It sounds like you might not have the distiller executable location in your search path.

At the bottom of the PDF export dialog box, do you see a green text that starts with INFO:(ORCAP-43006):  acrodist.exe is available.

Also, check and make sure the PostScript driver points to a working virtual windows printer.

My fix ended up being a complete uninstall/reinstall, with admin rights.
