Reading an excel file

Hi,

Please advice on how to read xls file format using skill.

Hello,

Reading text from an *.xls file produces some “Non Readable” characters.

Do you have small section of working code to read data from xls format?

we are doing it this way,

1. create a third party program that will read the xls file for you

--> that program should save it to a txt file

2. read using infile the txt file created

--> use axlRunBatchDBProgram to run the program, then next to it the function that will read the txt file
