Export Fab notes as a text file

I would like to be able to copy my fab notes from my database and export as a .txt file.

This way my board house can easily edit the notes to their specifications and hopefully I could import in their modified text file

You could try a simple utility I wrote. Unzip the attached file in the pcb directory of your board.

    In allegro command window type
    load("./st_output_text.il")

Then type output_text, select your text (use Temp group if needed). Then save the file.
(I uploaded the file by drag and drop but can't see any obvious result. If there is a problem let me know.)

I tried typing in the command you list above and always receive a command not found message in the command prompt.

I stored the zip file and extracted the file within to my working directory

I typed in load(".lst_output_text.il") is this correct?

Sorry, 'load' is a skill command so just copy and paste this command:

     skill load("st_output_text.il")

The ./  (dot slash) is not strictly necessary if the file is in the pcb directory.

I made some modifications to the skill code so the output text is sorted to match the layout locations, the attached zip file contains the updated skill code

    4503.st_output_text.zip
