Scroll through active films and Single Layer mode

Hai,

Is there an option to quickly scroll/switch active Films like we perform in Altium (combination Shift+Ctrl+Mouse Scroll) and Single layer mode (Shift+S)
Cadence is environment requires more Mouse Clicks.
Is there a way to directly input commands into command window rather than using the mouse to select.

Thank you

    Hai all,

To mimic Ctrl+Shift+Mouse Scroll behavior of Altium, these env lines could help

    button SCwheel_up "QtSignal ColorVisibilityPane CVPGlobalVisOff clicked;subclass -+"
    button SCwheel_down "QtSignal ColorVisibilityPane CVPGlobalVisOff clicked;subclass --"

Ctrl+Shift+Mouse Scroll will turn on consequent layers while turning OFF the previous layers, but in order for this to work Active Class & Sub-class must be set to ETCH in Options, if not this would scroll through that particular active class set in options. (Eg. if it is Package Geometry, it would scroll through Soldermask Top,Soldermask BTM, Silk and so on....)

Single Layer mode is not present in Allegro *BUMMER*
*I though I could ask Allegro to assign ash color to non-active layers and revert back to original color. But reverting back to "ORIGINAL" color of each layer would not be possible.

I am yet to find how to map middle mouse click.
To mimic Scroll behavior of Altium use these lines in env.

    button Cwheel_up "zoom in $buttonfactor"
    button Cwheel_down "zoom out $buttonfactor"
    button wheel_up "roam y -$roamInc"
    button wheel_down "roam y $roamInc"
    button Swheel_up "roam x -$roamInc"
    button Swheel_down "roam x $roamInc"

    Thank you,
    Visakh

the middle mouse is a zoom-in-zoom-out function. u can disable the middle mouse function if u type unbutton wheel_down and unbutton wheel_up on the command line.

I noticed there is no answer for the "Single layer mode" (shift+s in Altium). So, basically, that is similar to shadow mode, but Allegro (I am using 23) only made the inactive layer to be more dim, instead of a gray-scale. Also, the dimming does not work with assigned colour. But if "Dim color assignments" is checked, even the active layer is also dimmed.

Perhaps my way of thinking needs to be adjusted now that I am using Allegro.
