Capture CIS 17.2 Create Netlist Error

avron

Hello,

I am getting this error

ERROR(ORCAP-36022): Pin number missing from ... All pins should be numbered.

I realize that this has to do with the symbol and pins not being labeled, but I do not have access to the symbol.

I was given the .dsn file and .brd and need to make a correction to the schematic and corresponding board.

Is there anyway around this error without having a symbol in the library?

The symbols of concern are under the design cache. (redacted for security concerns)

Thank You

Select part in concern on schematic, click RMB > Edit Part

It opens symbol editor. Click on 'Edit Pins' in right pan and check whether all pins have number on them or not. If not, then assign pin number and save the symbol with update current and exit the symbol editor. Again try netlisting the design and see how it goes.

NOTE: Update current and Update All can be chosen as per your requirement.
