Using a orcad sch and i'm trying to update the PADS PCB but I'm getting these errors. 

#1 Error [ALG0065] Illegal character in \con(specific)\.

#2 Error [ALG0065] Illegal character in \con(specific)\.

#3 Error [ALG0065] Illegal character in \con(specific)\.

#4 Aborting Netlisting... Please correct the above errors and retry.

    The Capture help gives the below explanation for this error. 

    The design name, schematic name, part name or property value has one of the following illegal characters. Please remove the illegal character.

    I think the problem you are facing is due to the presence of the brackets around "specific" in some of the property fields in the parts in the schematic or in the design name.
