Saving of CIS Symbols

 All,

I am in the midst of cataloging a new library using CIS. Until I finish that massive project, I would simply like to save a symbol that has been modified in the schematic. I would like to maintain all the information  that I have embedded in the symbol in the current schematic. I thought I would be able to simply open the design cache and pick out the symbol and move it to the new library. Not so, I'm afraid. It seems that the symbol was saved as it was originally pulled from the library. There must be a way to save a symbol modified within the schematic. Thanks.

Cheers,

I had a bit of a briefing fromCadence support on this method. I'll try that when I get a little time. For now, I'll just modify my "new" library parts and then finish getting CIS rolling.

    Thanks a bunch,
