Some hole indicators are not being placed in the NCdrill_Figure layer

I have created a board from a mechanical .dra file that has mounting holes (non-plated thru-holes). When I look at the NCdrill_Figure layers all of the holes (plated or non-plated) from every component are located (I use crosses) on the drawing, however, every hole that existed from the .dra file which just had a number of mounting holes did not appear on the layer. They do appear in the .drl file and in the NCdrill_legend so I know that they exist, but I was trying to create a fabrication drawing showing all hole markers, the outline, etc, and noticed that these mounting hole were not indicated.

 Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks

Sounds like you might have some "null" drill symbols, as a "local to the board" fix, go to Manufacture>NC>Drill Customization, check that you have a drill symbol and a "sensible" size assigned for all the drills. That would be the first place to check. If this is the issue, add the Drill Chart again after setting the parameters.

Everything is fine in the customization (they all have symbols and are decent sizes), and even in the drill log itself, all of the holes are indeed there, they just don't show up on my one image for my fab drawing and I cannot figure out why or even if they should be on that layer do to the fact that they came from the mechanical symbol, and not from a part.

    Hello,

Do you have a top and bottom pad (spot pad) defined in the mechanical symbol padstack?

Allegro uses the Regular Pad definition in the padstack to determine the drill stage or depth.  If you don't have a Regular Pad defined it will look at the Thermal Relief or Anti Pad definition in the padstack and if you don't have anything defined it will not generate a Figure for your drawing.  This sounds like your issue.

    Hope this helps,

Dug deeper into the padstacks for those holes to see how they differed from the ones that worked based on your comments above, and found differences, so made the changes and they now appear. Thanks for the advice, it was extremely helpful in working this out.
