Skill method to optimize netlist (pin assignments) during routing using Allegro/Orcad.

I requested that Cadence remove the previous share of this after I found out Microsoft Skydrive eventually stops working without my login.  By then, the post was locked.  Sorry about that.

  • Copy the skill script "swapback.il" to your %HOME%/pcbenv directory.
  • In the Allegro command windows, type "skill load swapback.il". Allegro should respond with a "t".
  • Type "swapback" to launch the script. A dialog window should appear.
