Why to use Allegro System Capture – Editing Capture Parts

Our previous post covered how to edit DE-HDL library parts in System Capture. This post will cover editing Capture parts.

To edit a Capture part, select the library in Project viewer and right-click and choose Edit Library.

Edit Capture Library

This will open the selected library in Capture.

Make minor modifications like rearranging pins and changing the symbol outline and save the changes.

Part Manager will indicate the part as out of sync, which you can synchronize.
