How to see logs of XML files/libraries in AWR 22.1

XML files are used to organize the hierarchy of any document. These files contain elements that define products, manuals, and topics. An XML file may refer to further XML files that organize content at lower levels in the hierarchy. A top-level XML file, called a library, provides the content organization for all elements provided by various vendors with their models.

To populate the Libraries node within the AWR Design Environment platform, you can import/create XML files. Libraries are available under Elements tab as shown in the following image.

Logs of these XML files are useful in troubleshooting the issues related to downloading of XML files from the website, accessing it from the on-cloud server or cache memory. To see the logs of XML library, go to Help > Show Files/ Directories > user.ini.

Add the following lines to the user.ini file and save:
[XmlLibs]
VerboseLog=1

After doing this, restart AWR and access Libraries. The location where MWO is trying open the XML libs and their files will be displayed as shown below in the image. This helps to know whether or not the library and its files are loading in MWO.

So by adding the two lines to user.ini file, we can see the logs of the XML Library which can be helpful in troubleshooting the issues linked to XML files in AWR 22.1.
