How to convert a *.brd file created by version 16.0 to version 15.5 ?

I have a *.brd file which was created by Allegro PCB Design v16.0 but I'm using version 15.5.

Version 15.5 won't open the file created by version 16.0, except upgrade my software to version 16.0, what can I do ?

Thanks.

Standalone you can't do any thing.  It could be surgically exported and reimported into 15.x but there is no simple utility.

You could try using sub-drawing but you would probably lose net and constraint information. It might at least get most of the info in.....

You have to have 16.x to open it to do subdrawing. :)

Unfortunately, there doesn't have to be a better way.  This is not the first time it has happened, usually when they switch major versons (like 15 to 16) there is no way to downrev (since version 12 if memory serves, and that was the first time they had any sort of downrev capability)

Put in a support issue on it, Cadence may have an internal way.  But don't count on it :)
