NORPIE 2010 - Nordic Workshop on Power and Industrial Electronics

Objective:

The main objective of NORPIE is to give post graduate students in the Nordic countries an opportunity to meet each others and to exchange scientific and student specific experiences. The conference is of course open for any enthusiast in the field of power electronics in countries outside Scandinavia as well.

Results from simulations/lab or final projects are welcome, but also descriptions and visions of new projects in early phases of the work. Engineers, researchers, and academics are of course also very welcome, but the programme will be adapted mainly to post graduate students.

Topics:
1. Power electronic converters
2. Power electronic devices
3. Power electronic systems
4. Power electronics in power systems
5. Electrical machines
6. Electric drives
7. Control of power electronics and electrical machines
8. Robotics
9. Industrial applications
