Convert *.sch from old version of OrCAD

Hello all!

I have found a lot of sch. files, made in very old version of OrCAD - v1.25 (1985-1987 years). Also I have this version OrCAD with all libraries, and all work fine under DosBox emulator. I have two question:

1) Is it possible to convert from sch OrCAD v1.25 into any other modern file format?

2) I can write my own file convertor if will know the structure of .sch and .lib files in OrCAD v1.25. May be possible found somewere this information?

  • Hi i'm sorry to reopen this old thead with weird questions.
    Simply i want to convert an old SCH (orcad 4.0) to 9 or superior.
    Or print it with 4.0 (wich i don't have and don't know where to find it except here)

  • Hi Tarkus, do you still have orcad 1.25 ? I am missing the drivers and installer file... I only have a zip backup of pre-installed...
    Can you send me a copy of 1.25 if you have it ?
    Me too I want to transfer schematics to windows...

  • I am looking for Orcad 1.26 to re-open my old schematics... I only have the "installed" version in a ZIP with only CGA driver. Can you help me get back the full version you have or let me have the video drivers plz ? Thanks...
