Video: Update on AMIQ’s DVT IDE and UVM 1.0 at DVCon 2011

6 Apr 2011 • 1 minute read

The UVM 1.0 release was the big story of DVCon 2011, as it's the first verification methodology officially supported by all three of the "Big 3" simulation vendors.  However, the very nature of the standard -- an open source library governed by a community similar in character to Linux itself -- also enables a whole host of vendors from pure-play IP companies to providers of best-of-breed productivity tools.

In particular, long time readers of this blog and of the Team Specman blog will recall that Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and verification services provider AMIQ has been in the vanguard of supporting eRM, OVM, UVM early adopter versions, and now UVM 1.0 specifically.  In this interview shot on the DVCon 2011 expo floor, AMIQ CEO Cristian Amitroaie describes how they have evolved their DVT IDE to help eRM, OVM, and VMM users migrate to UVM 1.0 for SystemVerilog and multi-language UVM e and SystemVerilog interoperability.

Happy Migrating to UVM!
