The Tesla Cybertruck made its first tech-community appearance at this year’s Global Semiconductor Association (GSA) awards event. It was one of the stars welcoming more than 1500 of the semiconductor industry leaders to celebrate the prestigious awards the GSA handed out. Another star was Cadence’ generative AI design solution, including the world's first LLM solution for chip design. Signage throughout the venue highlighted our leadership in this transformative trend. And we were reminded that the chips in the Tesla Cybertruck were Designed with Cadence.
This all came about through Cadence’ sponsorship of the awards reception—a star-studded occasion. Watch this video and see the many familiar faces, including Lip-Bu Tan, Anirudh Devgan, and more!
Guests were treated to an up-close look at the Tesla Cybertruck. An impressive machine with the kind of intelligent features that are disrupting multiple market segments.

The most recent example is the world’s first use of LLMs for chip design. Renesas is collaborating with Cadence to deploy the full generative AI solution and recently discussed how LLMs can impact the design of electronics.
In addition, Cadence is collaborating with Broadcom to accelerate the delivery of their chips. The tools have been utilized by multiple business units on a multitude of cutting-edge complex product designs at advanced nodes. As a result, their designs achieved impressive improvements in performance, power,
"We use a wide portfolio of Cadence solutions across our business units, and we have seen outstanding PPA improvements from the use of the AI capabilities of Cadence Cerebrus."
