CadenceLIVE 2021: Save the Dates

It's another year, so another season of CadenceLIVE events across the world. The dates are all below. Take careful note since several of the events are at a different time of year from their historical place on the calendar.

As always, the focus of CadenceLIVE events is on the users of Cadence products sharing their experiences. We know that people want to hear from other people like themselves, and how they used Cadence tools and IP to develop real products.

CadenceLIVE Around the Globe

It is too early to have any detail about the international CadenceLIVE events. But I do have the dates! So this post is like when people have weddings (remember those?) and send out a card to save the date before the formal invitation comes later. The current plan for all these events is that they will be hybrid. They will take place live but will also be recorded, and the videos will be available some weeks later. However, it goes without saying that this is all subject to change.

• Japan: July 16 in Yokohama
• India: August 4 in Bangalore
• Taiwan: August 19 in Hsinchu
• China: August 24 in Shanghai
• Europe: October 19-20 in Munich
• Israel: November 16 in Tel Aviv

The format of CadenceLIVE consists of keynotes, technical tracks, and an expo. There are typically three keynotes: one by a member of Cadence's executive management team, one more technical, and one from the senior management of a Cadence customer.

The precise tracks vary a little, depending on submissions (see below for how you can submit an abstract to CadenceLIVE Americas already). To give you an idea, here are the tracks from one CadenceLIVE last year. Note that they will be something like this but not precisely the same:

CadenceLIVE Americas

The CadenceLIVE year kicks off as usual with CadenceLIVE Americas, but not as usual it will be held a couple of months later on June 8 and 9. It will be a digital experience. Not only can you attend, but you can present there, too! The call for presentations is now open.

Are you driving design change or feel you’ve overcome challenges that could impact the electronic revolution? CadenceLIVE offers you an opportunity to tell your story. Showcase your expertise and offer tips to address complexities and challenges facing engineers today.

CadenceLIVE Americas 2021 – A Digital Experience will be held on June 8-9. It features peer presentations that offer solutions for today’s design challenges that will impact tomorrow’s products.

We are seeking presentations on design topics that illustrate your experiences with Cadence products, solutions, flows, methodologies, and techniques. Submit an abstract for consideration and if it is accepted, you’ll gain free admittance to the digital conference.

A Year of Breakfasts 2021

Yes, there will be a 2021 version of my annual book with some of the best posts from the previous year. If the world returns to normal, I hope to attend all the above CadenceLIVE events and give away my book in person. If that doesn't happen, we'll find another way to get you a copy if you want one.
