CadenceLIVE Americas: Now Available On-Demand

9 Jul 2021 • 2 minute read

cadenceLIVECadenceLIVE Americas was held earlier this month. It is now available on-demand. So if you attended the event, you can watch sessions that you missed at the time. But, perhaps more importantly, even if you didn't attend you can still register and watch the sessions on demand. You won't get the full experience of attending the event—make sure you register in advance next year! In particular, the keynotes are not available for replay. However, you can read about the keynotes by Google's Partha Ranganathan in my post CadenceLIVE Google Keynote: Please Sir, I Want Some Moore? that I published last week. I also have some posts on individual sessions from the technical tracks in the funnel that will come out during the next couple of weeks.

Here are the details. Go to the CadenceLIVE Americas page. At the top right, you'll see two menu items. If you are already registered, then click on "login" and provide the email that you used to register. That should take you to the big replay menu (see below). If you never registered, then click on "register now". You'll need to provide basic information like your name and company.

Once your email is accepted, you will get to this screen. In the center, you can see a small red box "click to enter". Click on it (well, duh!).

That will bring you into the lobby. Over to the right are some doors marked "keynotes and sessions". Click on that.

That brings you to this screen—click on the box that says "click here".

Finally, you get to the menu listing all the sessions available for replay. At the top of the page is a menu that restricts what is show to a particular area like "custom/mixed-signal". Or you can just scroll down.

If a session just says "this session has ended" then either it is a keynote or the presenters chose not to give permission for subsequent replay. Hopefully, the sessions you are interested in look like this, and you can click on the blue "play" button.

The replay should start immediately. You can stop and start the video, or jump to a given point, in the usual way. In the bottom right, the little icon with four arrows will make the replay full screen. The chat window seems to still be active, but don't try typing anything in there since the session is long over and nobody is monitoring the channel any more. To get out of the replay and go back to the menu, there is a little X to the top right to close the replay window itself.
