Virtuosity: What’s New on the Cadence Learning and Support Portal – Part 1

22 Sep 2020 • 3 minute read

Locked in for past few months, we all are indulging in new activities these days, learning new things, and adding something interesting to our everyday routine. Along similar lines, we are happy to share with you the Custom IC Design Flow/Methodology RAK series on the Cadence Learning and Support portal.

The Custom IC Design Flow/Methodology RAK series walks you through a sample design flow, illustrating the use of the Custom IC Virtuoso Platform tools at various design stages.

The RAK series covers the entire front-to-back Custom IC Design flow, where each stage is based on the Concurrent Design Methodology. The series uses the same design throughout and each RAK is independent in itself as well.

Insights

The RAKs in this series demonstrate how Cadence Custom IC tools map in the Analog or Mixed Signal design methodology to meet the needs of designers. The labs are based on a realistic design, which blend the design methodology concepts with the tool tasks. They demonstrate an illustrative flow.

Note: These RAKs are not intended to teach individual tools.
