Virtuoso ICADVM20.1 ISR22 and IC6.1.8 ISR22 Now Available

The ICADVM20.1 ISR22 and IC6.1.8 ISR22 production releases are now available for download at Cadence Downloads. For information on supported platforms and other release compatibility information, see the README.txt file in the installation hierarchy.

  • IC6.1.8 ISR22

We are no longer providing incremental software releases (ISRs) for the ICADVM18.1 release stream. ICADVM18.1 ISR13 was the final ICADVM18.1 ISR released. The recommended replacement release stream for ICADVM18.1 is ICADVM20.1.

Here is a listing of the most important updates made in the current releases:

ICADVM20.1 and IC6.1.8 ISR22 

  • Interactive HTML Reports (Virtuoso ADE Verifier) 
    Use this reporting format to view highly detailed and organized reports that can be further customized based on your requirements.

  • Reliability Report for Post-Layout Simulation (Virtuoso ADE Explorer, Virtuoso ADE Assembler) 
    Use the postLayoutToSchematicInRelReport environment variable to view instance names in schematic format in the reliability report. By default, the reliability report shows instance names in post-layout format. 

You can also check out the following highlights from the ICADVM20.1 and IC6.1.8 ISR21 releases:

  • Update Partial Connectivity in a Schematic (Virtuoso RF Solution)
    Use the new Merge mode in the Create Connectivity form to append the connectivity specified in the input file to the existing connectivity.
  • Schematic Creation from a SiP File (Virtuoso RF Solution)
    Use the new SiP to Schematic feature to create a schematic view directly from a SiP file. This enablement step lets you create a multi-technology schematic view based on the connectivity information defined in a SiP file.
  • Adding Tags to Corners (Virtuoso ADE Assembler)
    Use this feature to specify a tag or a space-separated list of tags for each corner in the Tags row in the Corners Setup form. This makes it easy to search a group of corners by filtering using just the tag name.
  • Cross-probing Parasitics in Smart View (Virtuoso ADE Explorer, Virtuoso ADE Assembler) 
    Use the cross-probing feature to display the parasitic components and their values in Smart View by selecting the parasitic values displayed in the Parasitic Report assistant.
