ONiO Is Creating Battery-Free Solutions

Every year, billions of batteries end up in landfills, resulting in destructive fires, pollution, and toxic waste. The fundamental challenge with today’s electronics is that they all rely on one power source, and that power source is batteries. The solution? Remove the battery, of course!

ONiO is an IoT company based in Oslo, Norway, that’s changing the approach to sustainable electronics. ONiO performs a lot of simulations in analog and mixed-signal environments, where Cadence has a forte when it comes to simulation speed. Using Cadence tools means that ONiO can get results faster with great accuracy.
