Wiwynn Is Providing Energy-Optimized Cloud IT Solutions for Data Centers

With growing signal-integrity challenges, the system stability and performance are affected significantly. The “Delta-L” methodology is widely used to control PCB transmission line loss to enhance the quality and cost-efficiency for the AI server design and production. The issue with the serpentine transmission line design in Wiwynn’s previous Delta-L test coupon was that it often suffered from uncertainty problems, with inconsistency between the measurement data and the curve fitting.

To tackle this, Wiwynn has collaborated with Cadence to adopt the Cadence Optimality Intelligent System Explorer with Clarity 3D Solver. It’s about 800X faster than the original parameter sweeping to get the design parameters, and the new flow not only eliminates the uncertainty but also enhances the PCB panel utilization to save on costs. They’ve also used it to optimize the PCB design in terms of the via size and the void size for better signal integrity.
