A Brief Introduction to Xcelium

9 Jun 2017 • Less than one minute read

Welcome to the XTeam blog! We are a team of bloggers dedicated to showcasing the newest in parallel simulation technology with the Xcelium Parallel Simulator. In this blog, we will bring you informational and technical articles regarding Xcelium’s features, such as X-propagation technology, save and restore, and incremental elaboration, in addition to information about innovations and general improvements over existing simulators. We will also discuss the improvements brought on by the move to multi-core technology in simulations, Xcelium in low power environments, and digital mixed-signal use cases.

Xcelium is the EDA industry’s first production-ready third generation simulator. Based on innovative multi-core technology, Xcelium allows SoCs to get from design to market in record time. With Xcelium, one can expect up to 5X improved multi-core performance, and up to 2X speed-up for single-core use cases. Backed by early adopters’ success stories from a wide variety of markets, Xcelium is already proving to be the leading simulator in the industry.

For now, though, you find out more about Xcelium's features and capabilities in the Xcelium Parallel Logic Simulation datasheet.
