See you at CDNLive San Jose next week

4 Sep 2008 • Less than one minute read
FYI, Mike Stellfox and I will be at CDNLive San Jose next week.  In addition to reporting on some the papers in the verification tracks, I will have my SLR kit with me to experiment with photo blogging.  (Thus, if you are coming to the show prepare yourself to be Internet famous!)  Speaking of the verification papers ...

This year the influx of papers for verification was so strong that we now have two whole tracks exclusively devoted to verification.  In addition to the trend toward OVM, one more subtle trend you might observe is the increasing need for hardware-firmware co-verification, as evidenced by the number of papers on the topic, and/or that reference Incisive Software Extensions ("ISX", an option to IES that enables hardware/software co-verification in a metric-driven flow).

I'm eager to talk to the paper authors about the root causes of this trend that we have been seeing over the past 18 months, and I hope you will be there to join the conversation.
