Making an EDA360 System Realization Investment Through Standards Support

3 Jun 2010 • Less than one minute read

Cadence is a sponsor of the Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) standards organization. We are providing finanical and leadership resources to facilitate the creation and promotion of standards for system development. We continue to invest in OSCI and its activities because we believe in its importance, and because of the value we collectively provide our customers. Our OSCI participation is a tangible way that Cadence has been acting upon the early trend indicators that are discussed along with more recent developments in the EDA360 industry vision document.

Open standards are called out in the document as a critical requirement, and OSCI is a good example where Cadence continuously contributes. This blog highlights some of those recent contributions in the form of technical and industry presentation videos for your enjoyment.

For example, Michael (Mac) McNamara, vice president and general manager of our system software group, presented three videos on ESL trends and high level synthesis.

In addition, Brian Bailey, independent consultant, reported on work we've done together on TLM design and verification methodology.

Check out the videos and see what's happening out there!
