A Day in the Life: HR Intern Edition

Every day as a Cadence intern brings something new – whether it’s a project you’ve never tackled before or surprise conchas in the kitchen (both equally exciting). I started my morning around 8:30am with a walk-through palm trees into HQ, grabbed a coffee, and had a quick check-in with my supervisor to align on priorities and reflect on how my internship is going so far. 

The Cadence internship program makes sure interns are truly part of the team. I joined our HR All Hands meeting mid-morning, followed by a team lunch, and spent the afternoon contributing to projects that matter – like the Great Place to Work Culture Audit and comms for upcoming events. I also joined a Cadence Giving Foundation meeting to discuss ways I can get involved. 

By 5:00pm, I wrapped up my day feeling challenged, supported, and energized. The internship program here gives you real ownership, access to thoughtful mentorship, and opportunities to grow. I’m learning a lot and having fun doing it.
