Meet-and-Match: A Speed Mentoring Event

I'm excited to share that Cadence San Jose's first Meet-and-Match event on September 19 was a great success! The speed mentoring session provided recent college graduates with valuable career guidance from our longer-term employees through intimate discussions. The 15-minute intervals allowed the three mentees and three mentors to engage in deep yet efficient conversations.

Participants appreciated the diversity of career paths represented and found the environment to be a "safe space" for discussing work experiences. The in-person interactions were vital, offering a significant advantage over online mentoring sessions and fostering a warm atmosphere conducive to sharing insights.
