Podcast: PCB 3.0: More Power to the EEs

23 May 2024 • Less than one minute read

Today’s electrical engineers (EEs) are being asked to design increasingly complex products in less time than ever before. To satisfy design requirements and produce designs on schedule, EEs require solutions that let them not only capture design logic, but also run meaningful simulation and analysis, ensuring first-pass success more often.

What is the EE cockpit paradigm? What kind of design checks and analyses can be run from the EE cockpit? How do we start to address sustainability in PCB design and leverage AI/ML technology as a “co-pilot”?

All those questions and more will be answered in I-Connect007’s “On the Line With…Cadence” podcast series “PCB 3.0: A New Design Methodology.” In Episode 5, titled “More Power to the EEs,” Cadence’s Supreeth Mannava discusses the advantages of bringing more "power" (and "signal") to the electrical engineer. Listen below or on the I-Connect007 website.
