Systems Analysis 2026.1

Celsius Studio

  • Enhanced Simulation Performance with GPU Acceleration: You can accelerate the simulation performance on Linux systems in Celsius Layout and Celsius 3D Workbench by leveraging the power of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). For local resource configurations, GPU configuration options now appear by default in the Set up Computer Resources window on Linux systems. By utilizing the highly parallel processing capabilities of GPUs, you can achieve significant run-time reductions for computationally demanding operations like matrix computations and numerical solving.

    Note
: Celsius supports GPU acceleration on supported Linux platforms, including x86-64 and ARM (AArch64). The supported GPU architectures vary by vendor and platform.
  • Improved Optimality Intelligent System Explorer: The Optimality Intelligent System Explorer has been enhanced with new parameter types, enhanced design exploration capabilities, customizable Python-based objective functions, and an updated user interface. These improvements provide greater flexibility in creating design studies, streamlining experimentation workflows, and delivering a more intuitive user experience.

For detailed information, see the Celsius 3DIC User Guide, Celsius Layout User Guide, and Celsius 3D Workbench User Guide.

Clarity 3D Solver

  • AI-Driven Antenna Topology Generation: Clarity 3D Layout now includes the AI Antenna Designer capability, which uses AI-driven optimization to automatically generate and refine antenna topologies based on user-defined design regions and performance targets. Configurable optimization settings and fine-tuning support help accelerate convergence to optimized antenna designs, reducing manual iterations and overall design time.
  • Power Integrity Simulation Accuracy and Performance Improvements: Clarity 3D Power Integrity (Clarity PI) provides accurate and efficient low-frequency power integrity analysis for ICs, interposers, and advanced packaging designs. Its next-generation solver, Advanced Frequency Sweep (AFS), and optional AI Mesh technology improve simulation stability, reduce false resonances, and accelerate broadband PI analysis, enabling faster turnaround and higher productivity.
  • Monte Carlo Flows for Statistical Design Analysis: Optimality has introduced Monte Carlo and Fast Monte Carlo analysis flows to evaluate design variability, sensitivity, and yield. Advanced sampling techniques and machine learning-assisted analysis provide accurate statistical insights with reduced computational effort, enabling faster design exploration and optimization.
  • LXMesh-Based Meshing Performance Improvements: Clarity 3D Layout now uses the new LXMesh algorithm, replacing LMesh to deliver improved meshing performance and robustness. LXMesh efficiently handles a wider range of complex meshing scenarios, enabling faster mesh generation and more reliable processing of challenging designs.
  • GPU-Accelerated Simulations: Clarity 3D Layout and Clarity 3D Workbench now support GPU-accelerated simulations on the Linux platform. By leveraging GPUs for compute-intensive operations, such as matrix computations and numerical solving, simulations can be completed more quickly, reducing the turnaround time for complex designs.
  • ECAD-MCAD Co-Design for Full-System 3DEM Simulation: The ECAD-MCAD co-design flow enables seamless transfer of ECAD and MCAD data from Allegro through Clarity 3D Layout to Clarity 3D Workbench for a full-system 3DEM simulation, reducing the manual setup effort and accelerating simulation readiness.

For detailed information, see the Clarity 3D Layout User Guide and Clarity 3D Workbench User Guide.

Sigrity 2026.1

Layout Workbench

  • Advanced Editor Support for Rigid-Flex Designs: Layout Workbench now provides advanced editing support for rigid-flex designs in the Clarity, PowerSI, and PowerDC workflows. You can use Stackup Editor and Zone Editor to create, modify, and manage stackups and zones more efficiently. The Bend Editor option, which is only available in Clarity workflows, supports bend management for rigid-flex designs. You can access these options from the General tab of Tools - Options - Edit Options form.
  • Power Rating Support for Discrete Components: Analysis Model Manager (AMM) and PowerTree now support entering and editing the discrete component property, Power Rating, through updated UI fields and properties panes, letting you automatically perform power-to-current conversion.
  • Multi-Board Connection Import from CSV: The Import Blocks Connections option has been added in PowerTree, letting you import multi-board block connections from a PowerTree template or connector CSV and reducing the need for a manual setup.

For detailed information, see the Layout Workbench User Guide.

OptimizePI

  • Support for 0Hz Start Frequency: OptimizePI now lets you set the starting frequency to 0Hz in the Setup for Simulation - Frequency Range/Time Range editor pane. This change lets you include the 0Hz data from PowerSI frequency sweeps, improving consistency between the two tools and providing a complete, low-frequency analysis result.

For detailed information, see the OptimizePI User Guide.

PowerDC

  • Power Ratings for Discrete Components: You can now use power ratings when creating discrete components. PowerDC automatically converts the specified power rating to the corresponding maximum current, letting you use the available component power specifications directly and simplifying the component setup.
  • Sense Results for IR-Drop Analysis: A new table, Sense Results, has been added to the Electric Result Table section in the generated simulation report. The table reports VRM-to-sense and sense-to-sink IR-drop values for single-board designs.

For detailed information, see the PowerDC User Guide.

PowerSI

  • Port Generation Analysis for AC-DC Fit Workflow: PowerSI now performs port generation analysis automatically as part of the AC-DC Fit workflow, simplifying simulation setup and eliminating the need to configure a separate analysis flow.
  • Solver-Specific Computer Resources Setup: The Setup dialog box now displays configuration options based on the solver, PowerSI or Clarity 3D FEM, you select for simulation. To access the Setup dialog box, click Set up Computer Resources in the workflow panel.

For detailed information, see the PowerSI User Guide.

XtractIM

  • Model Component Type in Electrical Performance Assessment: The Model component type was added to include existing capacitor and die-model definitions during electrical performance assessment, reducing manual setup effort.

For detailed information, see the XtractIM User Guide.
