Questions regarding OMNIS

Hello,

I have two queries and would greatly appreciate it if they could be answered:

1) Is there any tutorial for 2D simulations in OMNIS? Specifically 2D airfoil simulation

2) When I try to save my project, I get an error saying " Warning, unable to create directory". Any ideas on how to solve it?

    Hello,

    1. There are no 2D tutorials available at the moment. OmnisTm solvers are 3d. What you can do is create a domain as thin as possible in the third dimension (3 cells minimum). 

    2. Could you please clarify:

    • What OS are you using?
    • What Omnis version are you using?
    • How are you starting Omnis?
    • Where is it installed?
    • Are you able to create a folder in the save directory outside of Omnis? 
    • Do you have enough disk space available?
    • Do you have permission to save in the target directory?
