Fidelity Split along an ISO curve on primitives

Hello everyone

Since Interfaces have to consist of at least 2 patches, i have to cut my patch. Fidelity has this tool called "Split along an ISO curve" but it keeps finding excuses for not working. For example it is not working on primitives. Any alternatives? Maybe convert the primitive to non-primitive within Fidelity?

Thanks!

    Hello,

Have you tried performing a boolean subtract? This should be possible with a plane as the tool body and solid as the target body.

    Best regards,

    Botond

    Hi Botond

Thanks for your suggestion, boolean subtract does work.

For the records, an alternative would also be to export the primitive as parasolid and then import again. A button to convert to primitive to cad would be nice...
