R-cycle in Open solver

cfd enthusiast
cfd enthusiast over 1 year ago

Hello Everyone,

I have been simulation using the pressure based solver in fidelity and I noticed that my simulations work well using the R-cycle (Robust-Cycle) within the algebric multigrid Method. I don't know why that is. I tried looking for the steps of that algorithm online, however I didn't find anything on it. Is the algorithm for the R-cycle known by another name?

Thank you!

Hi, I have submitted the JIRA ticket related to your inquiry about any documentation and algorithm associated with R-Cycle. I will update you if I have any information.
