Hello,

1. can we add  added resistance to a multiphase vof simulation (like a external force)?

2. on what significance wall roughness is taken?

    Hi,

    1) definitely. You can go to Body Motion > Degrees of Freedom > Solved Motion type > Dynamic Parameters in the User manual to see all kinds of external forces you can apply.

    2) wall roughness can be added on top of all solids walls defined with wall function. There is a dedicated paragraph about that in Boundary Conditions > Solid Wall Boundary Condition, of the user manual. Basically, you can define an equivalent sand grain height and this will be translated by an additional friction force on the solid patch. We provide standard values as well as examples.
