Cores

Question

Hello 
 Is it possible to utilize GPU cores for solving? 
 When trying to solve it simply takes forever 
 Thanks in advance 
 (currently running 6 cores 12 threads, 10th gen intel)

Hi Tobias, 
 How many cores are you asking for your simulation? With the load of your computer you should consider what is suitable for 6 cores. If you ask for 12, it may help a very little bit, but it won't be a factor 2 speed-up. Hyperthreading does not really double your number of cores. 
 Fine Marine is not available on GPUs. 
 The misunderstanding about Fidelity was caused by the fact that this question was posted in the Flow section of the forum; I will move it to the Marine section. 
 There are two things you can do: 
 
 Describe in this forum the objectives of your simulation, including domain size and current mesh cell count and the time you expect it to take, to seek for recommendations on how to run efficiently on the available cores. Possibly there are advices we can give you on reducing the cell count or running faster. 
 Possibly the objectives you have are simply not feasible with the machine resources you have in the time you expect. In that case it would be good to look for another computer that can run with the number of cores available in your license.
