Mesh generation fails (some process did not pass initialization)

Hi, when following along the Module 3 I get following Error Message when trying to start the Mesh generation:

M_Mesh Setup Full Error: some process did not pass initialization

This happens using the "Full" Choice, with the Seedpoint beeing inside the Geometry and underneath (-z) the Symmetry Plane.

Can one of you tell me what I did wrong? Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Vitus,

could you share with me please the coordinates of your seed point? You find the coordinates of the seed point in the domain context:

Too me it looks a bit like the seed point might be too close to the wall, but that is just an assumption. Usually you also get a warning message display, if that is the case.

Just to be sure: Did other mesh generation run already succesfully?

    Best regards
    Manuel

    Hi Manuel,

yes I can, but I put the seed point in about 20 differrent spots and it didn't change the error message.

    1.683386 -0.003455 -0.140219.

I tried creating a random Mesh in a different project, that worked flawlessly.

So far mesh generation never made any problems. I tried redoing the Mesh Setup, the same Error Occurs.

I will try doing the whole exercise again, but I probably wont get to do the Challenge in time so I'm worried about not passing the Course.

Do you have any other ideas what could be wrong?

    Best Regards

    Vitus
