A Step-By-Step Guide for Developing Blade-to-Blade (B2B) Surface Integrals in Fidelity Platform Using Python API Functions

Gaurav
Gaurav 23 days ago

We are excited to share a script-based method for efficiently generating integrals in Fidelity version 2025.1, utilizing the Axial Turbine Aachen setup as a demonstration case. This application note serves as a comprehensive guide, providing a step-by-step walkthrough for creating a custom script file tailored to your specific needs.

Primary Objective

The script's primary objective is to automate the process of generating integrals on the B2B surface at desired span locations, compute integral values, and store the results in a convenient ".csv" file format. By leveraging this automation, Fidelity users can efficiently extract multiple values at various locations, thereby significantly reducing the time and effort required for manual calculations.

Downloadable Script Files

To facilitate the implementation of this script-based approach, we are providing two downloadable script files:

1. Axial_Turbine_Aachen_2025.1.py: This primary script is responsible for running simulations.
2. Post_Proc_Integral_B2B_Surface.py: This secondary script employs Python functions to generate integrals.

These scripts can be easily integrated into your Fidelity workflow, enabling you to efficiently generate integrals and analyze results. We invite you to explore this script-based method and experience the benefits of streamlined calculations and increased productivity.

You can access the downloadable script files and explore the detailed step-by-step guide in this application note. We welcome your feedback and look forward to your participation in the discussion forum.
