Determine vortex rotation direction

i am looking for a way to determine the direction a vortex is rotating in CFView.

    A straightforward method involves first pinpointing the vortex's location and then creating the cutting plane at that particular location. After that, in the top toolbar select Quantity>Field Data> Basic Quantities and select the velocity field. Then click on Representation tab and select the vector type. The vector field will give you a clear picture. You can also create a different cutting plane to verify how the vortex is evolving.
