I would like to access the graphical results display functions that are available in ADE-XL from a skill/ocean script.
For example, I would like to bring up the "spec summary" for a given history item.
Obviously I can create a non-graphical session

and access the history

but the "view" function only works if I have started with a graphical session all along
Is there any way to access this from an already running graphical virtuoso session?
Is there any way to access this completely scripted from a non-graphical session, similar to the "plot" function in ocean?
I've done quite a bit of digging, and I'm pretty certain this is not doable. The ADE XL UI has to be open to get the spec summary or view results pane. There's no public API to do this (and not really any private APIs that are in the right form).
I did also look into ocnxlOutputSummary too, but that only seems to work if the run was done in that OCEAN XL session.
You can get at all the specs, and also all the scalar results (using axlReadHistoryResDB()), but you'd have to write all the formatting and spec output etc yourself.
So probably you either need to open an ADE XL view (if this is running from "ocean" or "virtuoso -nographE", you could do that), or contact customer support to get an enhancement.
