Hello,I am trying to write some SKILL code to analyze a rod obj and generate the necessary SKILL code to regenerate the same object. However, I cannot find any prop in the rodObj, it's dbId, or any of the subShapes to report if the master or any subparts are choppable? How can I determine this?Suggestions on a better way? :-)Thanks!
I think there is now way, at least not straight forward one, except the graphical edit properties form.Bernd

I couldn't find a attribute called chopabel or similarat rodGetObj( dbId )~>??or rodGetObj( dbId )~>subShapes~>??And that's the place where I would expect it, ifexisting. That's what I meant with not straightforward.Hopefully somebody at Cadence monitors this thread andcan give a somehow more detailed answer. Bernd

Hi, After ... ~8 years+ I came back with the same question:
How can I access (read / change) the choppable property of the master path ? With the edit properties form it works. Where is the Edit Properties Form taking the information from?
In reply to Adrian Nistor:
There is no SKILL API currently for this. CCR 1049177 was filed for this, and has been implemented in the upcoming IC617 and ICADV12.2 releases, where there will be:
