Creating and Using a GDS Library in AWR Tool

In the AWR tool, this article will help you understand how to create GDS libraries from various layout elements such as existing or a GDS artwork cell, schematic elements that have an associated layout, and polygons drawn in the layout.

A new GDS library can be created from element artwork cells, polygons, and so on. To create a new cell library that has all the artwork, including its hierarchy:

1.  Go to the drawing layer options window.

Select Layer Setup > default.lpf > File Export Mappings > GDSII (GDSII/OA) mapping. Ensure that all the export layers are checked and press OK, as shown below:

2.  Now, activate the layout view.

Click layout and select Export Layout, as shown below.

3.  Choose a filename (for example, test.gds), make sure that the filename is set to GDSII Hierarchal and press OK. The export is completed, and the GDS cell library has been created.

4.  To inspect the library, go to the next project and import the library. To import, go to Layout > Cell Libraries > Import Cell Library, as shown below, and choose GDSII in the filename section.

Note: Alternatively, GDSII cell libraries can be created by doing a right-click on Cell Libraries and selecting New Cell Library. Similarly, DXF libraries can also be created with minor changes in the above steps.

My working case is the next: I created a report that collects data from GA & GSC. The goal of the report to visualize all the data automatically without updating. Now I have a csv file that is automatically dynamically updated and it contains lead data.
