AXIEM Meshing Understanding in AWR

Getting a good mesh when using AXIEM is important to have accurate and fast simulation results.  If you use AXIEM, you should make a simple line in your technology and work through the steps in the AWR documentation.  This is also a good reminder to always view your mesh before simulating a structure. As you get used to AXIEM, you can easily spot if a mesh is good or not.   

For example, here is the simple line: 

A good mesh would look like the following:  

And a structure being over meshed would look like the following: 

From the simulation results, you can see that both give the same answer. However, one takes a lot longer than the other.
