How to fix disappearing polygon stretch points or blue square points after zooming

In the layout under cell libraries, sometimes, while zooming the created design, the polygon stretch points or the pointed blue square dots disappear after zooming. This restricts the designer to merge the two polygon structures to blue dots (edit points) at the exact points as shown below in red circles:

Solution: To fix this, uncheck obj clipped by view and obj bounds exceed view by right-clicking anywhere in the white area near the design. Under restrict selection window, uncheck the following boxes (Obj clipped by view, Obj bounds exceed view) as shown below:

Steps:
1. Select the polygon.
2. Right-click and go to Edit Points.
3. Choose additional points in the same selected polygon other than the default four corner edge points if you need.
4. If you click elsewhere in the screen, it will deselect the polygon points and once you select manually, the zoom button will disappear. This is exactly what may be happening. If this is true, select the polygon again and zoom it after assigning points, or the best way to zoom is to use the mouse (press Ctrl + scroll up button) instead of manual buttons.
