On Cloud Losses Simulation Data

To Whom it May Concern,

When performing an EM simulation with On Cloud AWS drops the connection, cadence assures me that the computations are continuing, charges me for the time, and when it completes the data is not that. How do I fix it, and will you credit my account with the lost tokens.

Thanks,

Shawn

Update: I did find the data set, but had to re-create the graphs. Then right click on the data set, and select update results. That showed the plots. I then had to modify the AXIEM mesh settings to what I had before I ran the simulations. Now it all appears to be up to date. Seems like it should be eaiser than this. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Shawn

When the user hits the Simulate button, the EM Structure will be checked (compared) against the Data Set for two things:

    1. The time that the EM Structure in the project was last modified vs. the time that the EM Structure for the Data Set was last modified, and
    1. The geometry of the EM Structure in the project vs. the geometry of the EM Structure associated with the Data Set. If the time and the geometries match, then the program will decide that no new simulation is necessary, and the existing data set will be graphed (and the icon turns (or remains) green).

It is possible that the simulation for the lost connection may complete before the project is opened again, resulting in no changes to the existing structure and datasets. In such a scenario, selecting 'update results' would be a good option.
