problem with option ifilter filter synthesis

Good afternoon, I have had a problem with an option called iFilter Filter Synthesis. When I run it, a window appears saying: "error running wizard, unexpected C++ COM exception." I have run the program as administrator, but I still get the same problem. What can I do? Thank you very much.

Would it be possible for you to try a Repair Install / reboot of AWRDE, and see if that gives a different result?

Also, what version of AWRDE are you using?  And if you know or are able to check, can you tell me if the Wizard operates as expected in previous versions of the software?

I have repaired the program, uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it still doesn’t work. I’m using version 24.1. I don’t know if Wizard worked for me in other versions since this is the first time I have it.

Hi, and sorry for the delay.

I haven't been able to repeat this issue so far.  Can you check a couple of things?

    1. Are you able to run other Wizards at all?  Or do those exhibit the same behavior?

    2. Are you able to run any of the Scripts (from the Script menu)?

Items 1 and 2 are suggested in order to eliminate a registration problem with the API.

    3. Also, can you list what features do you have in your license file?  This is basically to check if you have the proper license to run that Wizard.

    4. I don't suspect this will be the case, but is there any chance there is something going on with the VPN or Firewall?

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

I can run several wizards without issues, while others throw different exceptions. I can also run the scripts without any problem.

I’m not sure what you mean by the features in my license file. I requested a student license, so if you could give me a hint on how to check that, I’d really appreciate it.

I don’t have any VPN installed. I also uninstalled my antivirus, disabled Windows Defender, and restarted my computer, but the issue persists.
