Keyboard shortcut for running simulation in ADE GXL?

Hi,

Is there any keyboard shortcut for running simulation in ADE GXL/XL/L?

I really don't want to move the mouse to hit that green button every time I run the simulation, especially when Cadence is not running on my local workstation.

Thanks!

    Hi Andrew,

As you comment, I remove the 1st sentence about prefix, use only : hiSetBindKey("Schematics" "<Key>F5" "sevNetlistAndRun(sevSession(hiGetCurrentWindow()))").

And I can ensure the schematic window is linked to ADE L . But when I use F5, nothing happen, even no warning pop-up. Do I use the command same as you ?

    Regards

Well, that works for me. What happens if you do:

    hiSetBindKey("Schematics" "<Key>F5" "println(987654321)")

Does it print the number in the CIW when you hit F5 in the schematic window?

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

I think I find the reason why F5 not work. Because I also use F5 as bindkey for adexl. Seems there is contradiction between them. As soon as change it to another icon, sim runs well.

        Thanks for your help !

    Regards
