Dotted lines by default in ViVA

I don't know what happened and my Cadence tool suddenly switched to dotted lines by default in ViVA.  I would like to set solid lines by default. Does anyone know where and how can I do this?

I think I got it. There are only 10 package names from y0-y9, right?
I tried to search y10 but it doesn't exist.
Also, should I load it with drLoadDrf("/path/to/display.drf" t) every time I open and run session?

The layer names are y0-y9 (no y10), and I expect the packet names are consistently named - but abDebugPacket for each of the layers would clarify that.

If you are not going to (or not able to) modify the display.drf in the PDK, then you would have to use drLoadDrf("/path/to/display.drf" nil) in each session after loading the schematic (note: I made a mistake - the second argument should be nil not t; this avoids the popup when you exit virtuoso asking whether you want to save the modified display settings).

Alternatively, you could adapt the code in this post for your technology library name and path to display.drf. By having that code in your .cdsinit, it will automatically load your display.drf after the technology library is first accessed (and has loaded its display.drf) so that your display.drf "wins".

    Regards,

    Andrew

The lines are solid now. For saving the default setting, I need to have write access which I don't have now. So I'll save it for later.
Thanks for the help. It was annoying for a long time.

Note, with the approach I pointed to in my last append, you don’t need write access - you can add this into your .cdsinit (which presumably you would have write access to if it’s in your working or home dir).
