recovered transient simulation shows different waveform

an wx
an wx 1 hour ago

Hi all, I'm trying to recover a transient simulation which was previously terminated due to a host server shut-down. In order to do that, I specified the savefile path in 'tran Options' - 'State file' - 'recover' and run a new simulation. According to simulator log, the new simulation indeed restart from the time of my save-restart file, but the waveform is different from the old simulation.

I would like to know how can I set up the simulator so that I can get the very same waveform in the restarted simulation. Since I did change the schematic after I started my old simulation, I suspect that simualtor has generated a new netlist, which caused the waveform to be different? Besides, do I need to specify the initial condition algorithms of the new simulation?

I'm using ADE assembler in cadence virtuoso IC6.1.8.

Thanks in advance!
